It's Christmas Eve! When our daughters were small, on Christmas Eve we used to take a car ride around to see the lights displayed on peoples' houses. I as their father, got a little carried away by squeaking in an Orville the duck kind of voice : "Lights!", every time I saw Christmas lights displayed. Very childish, I know. On travelling back home from travels during Christmas time the girls would look around to see the lights. It was all part of the fascination of Christmas. Of course the sleighing Santas and snowmen far outweighed the Nativity scenes we saw. As we journey into Christmas Day through the night befalling, I pray that Christian believers would be as lights in the world, shining the Light of the world brightly all around.
